This is the smaller 12 volt coil for 1972 and earlier points ignitions
You can use this coil with any Datsun points ignition, but the 1973 and later (HP5-13E11 & C6R-205) points ignition coils were larger, and had a split-metal bracket band
Specs from the FSM:
Primary resistance 1.5 to 1.7 ohms
Secondary resistance: 9.5 to 11.6 ohms
Can replace Hitachi coil C6R-200 for use with points
This coil must be used with a 1.6 ohm resistor
