Refund Policy

Refunds & Returns

  • Products may be returned only if found to be faulty within the warranty period.
  • We will NOT accept returns if you have purchased the wrong item or no longer want or need that item.
  • Damaged items caused by incorrect installation will not be covered by warranty.
  • Its the BUYERs responsibility to inspect all parts on arrival of the goods. 
  • Returns on electrical items and products will not be accepted.
  • Vega Autosports accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged items from couriers & shipping companies once Vega Autosports has obtained the third party receipt for the service.
  • If we are unable to provide a purchased item to you, Vega Autosports will refund you the full purchase price and any other costs charged by Vega Autosports

For incorrect items purchased or change of mind that we are willing to exchange with a credit for full item only value towards other products or refund* within 7 days of delivery date and subject to the following conditions:

Return request to be made via the contact us page and contain the following details

  • Name on the order
  • Order Number/Invoice Number
  • Reason of return

Confirming the below is true

  • Return must be approved by the Vega Autosport's team
  • Products are as supplied, unmarked and in condition to be sold as new, and
  • Returned in original retail packaging
  • All associated postage and handling cost are payable by the customer

Once the return is approved you will received an RMA (Return Material Authorisation) number and further instructions. No goods will be accepted for return without an approved RMA.

*All refunds will be processed via the same method as the original payment and will have any associated transaction fees deduced from refunded amount and may be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee.

Warranty on New Parts 

  • Most New performance parts come with their own factory warranty for a limited period from the date of purchase. If the product comes with a warranty card, you must keep it with you at all times in order to make a claim if you need to. The duration of the warranty depends on each product and brand.
  • If the product proves to be faulty during the warranty period, we at Vega Autosports will send it back to the original manufacturer may it be in Australia or elsewhere on your behalf and get it repaired (if possible) or have it replaced with new one on your behalf.
  • The freight cost to and from the manufacturer will be paid by the customer.
  • The product warranty only covers the product itself when it has been used in a proper normal way and does not cover the engine or other relating items damaged by the product.
  • We are not responsible for any damage or incident on your vehicle BY MISUSAGE OF THE PRODUCT OR AT A RESULT OF AN ACCIDENT.

Payment Methods

Australian Orders

  • Payments for orders placed on our website are only accepted in the form of Bank Transfer, Credit Card, Paypal 
  • Customers should note that payments made using the Bank Transfer method can take up to 2-3 business days to clear, and only after this time will your order be sent to you.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to check that your delivery details are entered correctly and up to date prior to placing any orders. If the order was made via the phone, it is also the customer’s responsibility to check that your delivery details are entered correctly and up to date prior to placing any orders.

International Orders

  • For international customers, we are able to accept payments via Telegraphic Bank Transfer, Credit Card & Paypal
  • International Postage only applies to selected items.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to check that your delivery details are entered correctly and up to date prior to placing any orders. If the order was made via the phone, it is also the customer’s responsibility to check that your delivery details are entered correctly and up to date prior to placing any orders.

    If payable, import duties, taxes, and charges aren’t included in the item price or postage costs. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

    Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.

Terms & Conditions

  • Ownership of the goods supplied on the invoice remains the property of Vega Autosports until this invoice is paid in full.
  • Vega Autosports accepts no responsibility for the goods delivered by couriers or shipping companies once Vega Autosports has obtained the third party receipt for the service.
  • All priced items and conditions of sale are subject to change without notice.
  • Parts Supplied by Vega Autosports are designed for RACE USE ONLY and are not recommended for public roads in Australia or your Country. It is the Customer’s responsibility to check with legal Authorities within the customers country on the use of these products on public roads.
  • Vega Autosports collects and retains information provided by you when you sign up. This information consists of your name, phone number, email and postal addresses. This information is used to allow you to purchase online & access our system, and for Vega Autosports & contractors to make contact with you regarding current or previous orders. Vega Autosports will not sell or share your information with any 3rd party with the exception of contractors working with us or unless directed to by a court of law.

Paypal Policy Amendment 

  • As of the 11 October, 2019 Paypal has changed there refund policy in line with industry practice and will not charge a fee to process refunds, but the fees from the original transaction will not be returned. Due to this any refund that is processed with Vega Autosports after discussion with us and agreed upon will not include the fees and charges.
